Develop image-stitching algorithms used to make panoramic shots on a smartphone.
The Job
The project was built around stitching panoramas together out of a series of different pictures, meaning that we had to develop algorithms for registering images, evaluating seams, and transferring colors. The solution we ultimately came up with supports high quality 360x180-degree dome views.
